Description
Turning Point is a “three-phased” recovery program designed specifically for young men with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. This accredited and nationally acclaimed program combines evidence-based addiction treatment practices with traditional Twelve Step recovery and a comprehensive, experiential learning process designed to meet the developmental needs of young men. The phase model (Phases I, II, and III) is a recovery “building block” approach, where each phase is designed to build upon the previous one. Turning Point utilizes a supportive residential community with licensed clinicians, counselors, psychiatric professionals, instructors, recovering staff, and educational/vocational support staff. Turning Point’s mission is to expose young men to a drug-free world gradually, as their coping skills, self-esteem, and recovery tools become sufficient to identify and navigate potential threats to their sobriety.
Moving toward success in recovery and in life takes time. Turning Point offers that time, and recognizes that each young man makes the journey on his own calendar. Transition from phase to phase—a step-down approach to treatment that’s really a step-up approach to life—is not a matter of completing a certain number of hours, but of completing the work that’s necessary. Not the clock, but readiness, determines transition. Few programs have the number of experienced staff, quality of facilities, depth of institutional knowledge and resources to offer such a comprehensive approach to long-term recovery for this specific age group. No other program utilizes phased integration to fuse primary treatments and independent living to the extent that Turning Point does. It is our great privilege to graduate one successful, responsible, and sober young man after another. Please call us today at (877) 581-1793.
